What age does my child have to be to attend Mylnhurst Nursery?
We welcome children into Mylnhurst Nursery during the term they celebrate their third birthday and have the option to move into Reception the following September when they turn four.
Would my child have to attend Mylnhurst Reception class if they attend Mylnhurst Nursery and Pre-School?
Not at all! Children who attend Mylnhurst Nursery and Pre-School are welcome to transition to the primary school of their choice.
Where do I buy my child’s Nursery and Pre-School uniform?
We have an on-site shop where you are able to purchase any uniform requirements for your child.
Does Mylnhurst offer 15 Hours Free Childcare at their Private Nursery ?
We do offer 15 Hours Free Childcare in our Nursery, for more information on how to claim this please give us a call and we will be happy to help.
What are the Mylnhurst Nursery and Pre-School opening hours?
The Nursery and Pre-School operates Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm within school term time.
For any parents who require additional hours of care, we have the Mylnhurst Children’s Club (MCC).
The hours available and costs are as follows:

Are the teachers and additional staff qualified?
All our staff members have extensive experience working with young children and undergo regular training to stay updated on best practices in early education.
What is the teacher-to-student ratio?
We maintain a teacher-to-pupil ratio of 1:6 to ensure that each child receives individualised attention and care.
What health and safety measures are in place?
The safety of our children is always a top priority. We have strict health and safety protocols, including emergency procedures, regular cleaning, and trained staff members in first aid.
Is there a sibling discount available?
There is currently no sibling discount available at our Nursery and Pre-School.
